by the time you get it in and working you'll be so far in debt... Need to fabricate engine mounts and figure out how to connect the trans. You have a chevy 302, where'd you get that and why are you building it for an 82? 350 is the way, can go 355 or 383 stroker when you get bored. Really no reason to build a small engine when parts are more expensive and net less power.
just do a ls2 swap if you wanna spend money
i'm curious who builds a chevy 302? Weren't they ONLY made one year for something to do with nascar? Unless your talking about a 305, and most people don't "build" those.
I'd think if you wanted to be a little more unique then a 350 you'd do a 327 Shorter stroke then a 350, love to rev... a built 327 at 6700rpm sounds pretty mean.
302,s were in the 67 Maro DZ series engine, 350 block 283 crank will sping 9500 rpm with no problem, thats why
