First, let's be clear. Your stock car makes 240HP at the crank. With a 20% drive train loss that's about 192WHP. To make 300WHP you need to make 375HP at the crank.

In short, those mods will not give you 108WHP or 135HP at the crank.

To answer your other question, colder plugs would be a good idea when dropping to the 3.4" pulley.

300 WHP can be had with a fullsize IC, rockers, headers, etc..

but much easier done with a cam.

300whp is going to require headers, some go with the powerlog/3" dp but if you look at the money you will be spending, do it right and get the headers, pacesetters are about the cheapest and their proven to work with minor alterations like getting better clamps for the y-pipe connection on them. I don't think you can safely acheive 300 without headers.

The rockers are an option instead of a cam. Cam installs are more expensive than rocker installs. Rocker installs are pretty easy and you can learn how to do them yourself, if you can get the valve covers off and torque the new one's, your set. The intercooler will run you $600+ and require the front bumper to be removed for install and you could probably install it the same time you do rockers. You can drop to a 3.2 pulley and possibly a 3.0-3.1" depending on the tune.

I'm not sure on the hp you will be making, it really depends on your tune. It will be a very good setup though for street without cutting into your mpg like a cam would and give it a stock sound still. This kind of setup has been in the 12's for 1/4 times before, but with extra work done.

Other things to consider are a ported s/c for the intercooler, machined LIM, replace the LIM gasket with a aluminum one, 105#springs for the 1.9rr, ported tb, 180* t-stat, gm pump for the IC, bigger FMHE for the intercooler, zzp mps, transgo shift kit....
