Ok so here's what happened. I posted a wanted add on craigslist a couple months ago for a Supercharger off a 04+ GP And just the other day some guy said he saw it and called me. He has one off his 04 that only has 50K on it and is getting rid of it because it was in a wreck. He only wants $250 for the supercharger and LIM!!!!!! I asked him to keep the gaskets and bolts with them because I've read they are kind of hard to find otherwise.

Now since I wasn't really planning on this happening I have no other topswap parts at the moment but will be collecting. It looks like right now it might not be happening this summer but I really don't care cause this was so lucky. I'm going to grab the usual parts plus a N* TB and some headers once I make the money.

    My questions are...

    1. What should I look for with the SC, LIM and gaskets to make sure they are in decent enough condition?
    2. Is there anything I should do to any of it as just general care and maintenance?
    3. Since there's a good chance it will be sitting for a while is there anything I should do to protect certain parts?
    4. And if it's not too much trouble could someone make a list for me of the parts that need to be off an L32 and the ones that can be off a L67? I've read the topswap thread multiple times and other GenV swap threads but still am not sure on all of it.

Sorry about all of the questions and reading it's just that I've never dealt with a SC before so I'm still a newb. I've been doing a lot of reading and searching but still just need some closure on things before I start anything.

    1) Do not reuse gaskets if possible, LIM gasket is the only one that may be reusable, and I'd only suggest that if its made of aluminum. Make sure the S/C rotors still have a nice coating. Make sure it spins freely, check for noise when spinning and play in the pulley. Play means the S/C coupler is likely gone and is a cheap fix. Change the S/C fluid as well. LIM just has to not be damaged in any obvious way, also make sure you have at least two of the studs for the fuel rail, preferably all four, but two opposing ones can work.

    2) Change S/C fluid. Its a Gen V, wont need porting. Unsure if the coupler is still a trouble area with those blowers.

    3) put in a garbage bag and tape it shut. Should keep almost anything off/out of it.

    4) Blower, LIM, Fuel rail unless you have modded ones. Actually I think you'd be best to jump for some modded fuel rails like the w body store one so you can run an I/C at a later date as well as avoid fit issues with your blower. TB adapter and various vac lines to rerout the vac lines. Then you should really get a tune since you'd basically have a car with a 3.6" pulley granted you leave the 3.8 pulley on there.

Thanks a lot Matt I really appreciate it. That's exactly the kind of info I was looking for.
