Just get mufflers. The entire catback is a good waste of money.

It's up to you just do some youtube searching. I wouldn't go with a cat back unless yours is effed. I went with the SLP power flow, i got rear ended and it bent the resonator and effed up the mufflers, and love the sound, but it's up to you. I was going to put flowmasters on mine before this whole ordeal happend

If you buy headers...your getting a DP.

I covered exhaust options in my safely modding thread in my signature. Read it...and go watch those vids. Catless headers and a stock catback will make your car sound pretty good...then if you want louder and a better tone, toss some mufflers on the stock pipes.

isnt there a muffler sound thread on here somewhere?

you could also youtube "modded grand prix gt magnaflow" or "grand prix gt magnaflow" and find the image of the rear end of my car. Magnaflows have a nice deep tone to em.

find a local exhaust shop and ask what they have or can get for your car and pricing

no need for a catback unless its messed up
my exhaust cost 300 basically it was catback cause my piping was rusted when i got it
I like magnaflows and borla but its all opinion and youtube doesnt do any exhaust justice

98 gtp sedan forest green ,S1X intense cam,Intense pcm,Magnaflow exhaust, ubend delete,TEP trans 3.29's,3.4 smoothflow mps,Dyno'd 281hp and 371ft #'s of trq at the wheels

i just had my exhaust redone. the pipe was screwed beyond all belief. i had it chopped behind the cat. took out the ubend, took out the res, replaced it with a glasspack and did 2.5 pipe all the way to stock tips. some probably wouldnt like it, others would, it comes down to your preference. cost me 200 for labor, 15 for tips, free glass pack and, 75 for a new o2 censor

This. That's what I'm doing now. Edit: you are semilocal actually. You can have my dynomax muffs and chrome tips for like 20 if you want em. One of the muffs is kinda rusty though.
