I have one... it does not read boost ... but does KR... however, the KR omits the decimal... so 2.2* KR will look like 22.
I love mine.
oh alright good to know..thanks
and BEFORE someone says to use the search button, let me say right now im in iraq and have to wait an hr or so to use the comp for 20 mins and the net here to slow to pull up searches
i had a scangauge 2 in my crownvic they are nice things to have
got in a pinch for cash and sold it though
you can set them to read boost... you have to enter it into one of the x gauges. i forget where i found the page... put it can read manifold pressure stock... so all it does it subtract atmospheric pressure and walaaaa boost lol its not instant.. but refresh rates are pretty quick... prob 3 times a sec but like you said.. its cheep and i like the way it looks cause i didnt want a gauge pod on my a-piller
here is one link for the code
ScanGauge II Xgauge Programming - Mazda Forums
but the one i found before had different variables because atmospheric pressure is not always 14.5 i had to put in 14.2 for my boost to read 0 when the car is off
edit* here is the one with the different settings for different pressures

hey thanks for the responses..can u make the backlight red?
Yes, mine is amber (red)... but since it was daytime... you can't see it. I will get you a night pic.
The downsides (bio already mentioned) is that you can't log the output. But its a great code scanning tool. And 4 gauges displayed at a time. That is what i usually run.

How do you set up the scangauge for KR? Just got mine out of the box, and didnt' figure it out.
