Well where is the fun in that?? LOL
maybe NON coated headers...you foolz
You honestly gonna drop the coin for ceramic coating?
I would, I had a ceramicoated plog in my impala and it was worth it IMO. My pacesetters should be here today, I got them painted because I'm welding them but downthe road when the paint peels off eventually I will get ceramicoating.
They dont stay shiny long anyways. Wrapped headers are easier and cheaper. Yes ceramic coating is nice but i would only do on manifolds for turbo. Why? Because i can blast those and coat them myself.
Exactly! Who care's about heat unless your racing. And how often does everyone go to the track.
I'm not stupid enough to grab the pipes when it's hot. Sorry to disappoint ya.
I will only be wrapping mine in certain areas. Most likely the front primaries, the crossover, and a bit of the downpipe section.
i've had 'em wrapped and coated. the only reason i got mine coated was because i did it myself. buddy had some "ceracote" maybe"ceracoat" anyway. i pd $100 or 150. used his supplies and sandblaster. other wise i wouldnot spend the $$$.....I'd wrap 'em myself. i know wrapping the crossover and rear manifold made a big difference. who gives a sh!t if it rust out 8-10 yrs later. i won't have the car that long.
^^^^damn right, them mutha get real hot. all that nice heat radiats to the t.b.....um, um ,um nice and toasty intake charge. touch the tb after 15 min of driving, yes wrapping or coating helps, ur choice!!
