Ok, I know there is a great sticky about modifications to do to the GTP but it doesn't say how much of a HP gain one can expect. I have about $180 to drop on one mod and I wanted to see what the opinions are out there.

    PLOG -$150
    Wizaired -$150
    Ported m90 - $100
Down Pipe - haven't found a good price yet and I want a CAT, hated the smell of the
gutted cat on the Camaro and I am not going there again

I just emailed the guy with the m90 to ask about who did the porting and if it is just the case. I have also heard bad things about fuel economy dropping with the installation of a FWI and/or CAI and I would like to keep my fuel economy the same. At this point I am leaning towards the PLOG but I wanted to hear from those who have experience with these modifications.

Or save for headers, then perhaps a 3.4 pulley would be within reach with a few other small mods.

If your going to do dp and plog save for headers you can get ssac's or pacerussters pretty decent priced

with any modding you will want a tune and it all depends how far you want to take your car No use in doing mods that wont help for other mods in the future

Headers? Or do you mean specifically pacerusters?

headers = $350 and DP + PLOG = $350-400 unless you buy used.

From headers? any header will gain you more flow better flow is what an engine needs
Maybe I dont understand the question
Headers are one of the best exhaust mods you can do

the proper backpressure is what is important to an engine. I'm not arguing that but what I am saying is pacerusters are junk

PAcerussters arent my first choice but they work fine for what they are is what im saying if properly installed or welded they dont leak and do what they are suposed to
And yes engines do need proper back pressure that would be why you leave it at stock piping size on the exhaust

Most headers follow the same basic design

sure u can put a 3.4 or stock manifolds........if ur stephen hawkins at tuning. u get headers to breathe better, the car doesn't know what brand they are. 4hpp????? even morons like zzp have dyno tested 15 or 18 ho over stock, your facts are phucked up. headers(whatever brand u want) come out better as far as financial, horsepower, torque and breathing gains.....also i gained mileage with cold air and headers. so wtf??? pissing match anyone???

ps ^^ don't take it wrong but maybe the pace crappers u bought were junk. i welded and coated mine and i didn't spend over $250 outright. i do understand hat some folks don't have capabilities to weld up the crossover. but i guess if we take that into account, i see why some would hate'em so cool.

You need headers for a 3.4 If you can to run any kind of timing.
