Im changing out the spark plugs and wires on my 2001 GTP. The only mod is a K&N cold air intake. been trying to search for the best plugs on the forums but the lyngo you guys are useing is confusing me.

    What are the stock plugs?

I understand that supercharged engine needs copper core spark plugs. Im gonna pick them up from autozone. Is this what i need in the link below?

    AutoZone.com | | Spark Plug | AUTOLITE SPARK PLUG

And for the Wires should i upgrade to 8mm or just go with stock 7mm. I use the 8mm in my formula firebird v8, i figured they would be good in the GTP as well.

it wont matter. the only reason to buy nice plug wires is if you plan on taking them on and off a lot so they wont get all torn up. i ran stock plug wires on my car even when i was heavily modded.

cool makes me feel better. the 7mm are cheap enough to change once a year with plugs anyways.

Heat Range: The hottest plug you can get away with...without knocking.

Correct Route to go with 3.4" Pulley and a Cold Air Intake: A new short block.

    Have fun chipping pistons
