Hello, I was going to bypass the supercharger bypass solenoid as mine is half melted and covered in oil and was wanting to see if its helped. My problem lies in the fact that I have a 97 GTP with a 99 Eaton m90, so my vacuum lines are a little jacked up for the time being.
On to the question. I know to bypass the solenoid, you have to remove the lower line that goes from the bypass solenoid to the bypass actuator. When i remove the line from the actuator, do I leave the plug on it open, or do I need to cap the port on the actuator.
Last question, does it matter where I grab vacuum from? On the 97 There was a vacuum tree on the bottom part of the supercharger near the LIM and a vacuum tree on top with 3 ports. Now that I have a 99 supercharger, the tree on the lower part of the supercharger is gone. Can I just tee off of one of the lines coming from the top of the supercharger. I didn't know if it being on the top side of the roots would read differently than the bottom side.
Thanks for the help!
