on average how much would it cost me to pick up an L67, seems an easier route than a top swap so im looking for the full engine. dont care about miles, throw some prices out there!
thanks in advance!

more power from a top swap done right...but if you can find one a pull a part, about 200 and change
ya i know because of higher compression but id rather have less power with a smaller headache lol
but damn thats cheaper than i thought...
$600 is the cost from my local junker, i believe thats including removal from the car.
thats not too too bad either
Pull-A-Part see if theres one local for ya, i have 3 that aren't to far from me. And check out there price list. If you can find one there totally worth it. And L32's are a dime a dozen, yet i've still seen some L67's out there
My local auto wreckers have a few and they range from 500 high miles missing parts to 800-1000 lower miles complete
for lower miles anywhere from about 500 to 1000 depending. i ended up getting one with 82000 for 900 somethin i could have gotten lower miles cheaper but my dad wouldnt listen to me so we got hosed on it a bit but overall it turned out to be a pretty good engine. i still have most of it for sale if you just need alot of engine parts get ahold of me.
no head ache here, and 0 knock, as long as you have proper supporting mods.
the L67 swap would be good for someone with a lower budget, or someone who wants to mod in time. While the top-swap will yield higher power gains, it is also somewhat of a head-ache, and requires someone who is pretty knowledgeable in tuning.
I got my L67 with 56K on it about 4 years ago for $950. Just keep an eye out and you'll find something. Just keep in mind though with the swap you'll need the HD tranny, plus the PCM. I dunno what year you have, but if you have a 97-99, and you install a 99+ setup, you'll have some issues.
Good luck!
I would find a nice L32. That's what I'm looking for as we speak!
dude i blew my crank in my old motor sold the blower "with the bbv " for 254 dollars on ebay!!!! then the heads for 375 shipped needless to say i made good change lol
Blew the crank?
How do you do that...really.
"tweaked" bent whatever your guy's vocab is LOL
