had same noise, i put on downpipe with high flow cat and also deleted the resonator, sounded like a ricer. today i put a glass pack where resonator was, now it sounds very good. still have stock mufflers. hope this helps you.

    Ported stock headers?

You just have ported MANIFOLDS. And the reason your car sounds like crap is because you need a resonator.

so do resonators, but a glasspack from summit is like $20 and a resonator is like $60. if you dont care to replace it every couple years then have at it.

Yes glasspacks blow out every couple years...1/3 of the price of a resonator...but last a 1/3 of the time too.

Go to your local auto parts store and buy one...shouldnt be more than $30 for a decent sized one...like 24" or so.
