    Can I just have it slaped in there? or is the cam installation kit nessisary? It's for a 04 GTP

    I would use the cam kit...it's better to replace stuff now then possibly having it all installed and then having a problem so now you have to back track which is going to take double the time, but i go by my own saying which is kinda "replace it while you are there"
