Rocker bolts
Flex plate bolts (flex plate to crank)
Torque converter to flex plate bolts
connecting rod bolts
Main bolts ?? - i think.. might be wrong here
Cam bolt
crank bolt
Head bolts
Buy ARP head studs, main studs, connecting rod bolts and reusable rocker bolts..
GoodLuck!
get main studs, head studs, and reusable rocker bolts. no more TTY for the parts that matter.
and for the record, i have reused TTY bolts in a few places (rockers and crank bolt).
Yeah we even reused TTY head bolts in my buddy's Five Oh...but then again...it was a Mustang...I looked like this: O_o When he was putting them BACK IN.
I wish I would have bought Head/Main studs if I would have known I'd be going through this many motors LOL
So i was looking at main studs and it said as a note that you should have the mains line bored with them in. Is that necessary. And with the rod bolts it said that machine shop work is needed. Can some one explain why to me cause i don't get it.
If you are getting ARP Main studs then yes...you need the block line bored...I am in the process of having mine done.
