I was looking into a new exhaust system. I have the SLP header kit with a high flow catted downpipe. I like the look of the SLP "Power Flow" exhaust with the 3.5 slash cut tips. I hear good things about the Corsa exhaust. what do you guys recommend?

Keep the stock catback and just put muffers of your choice on it.

Only thing wrong with that is you can get tips off of EBay for a quarter of the price you pay at PFYC for the same things...other then that...I say Flowmaster 40's with the stock resonator

well the tips were a gift so i got them for 0% of the cost on ebay

as far as the borlas, i think they were 160 for both. another vote for a resonator here. i wouldve kept mine in if it didnt leak so bad.

I have a 03, with Flowmaster 40's. Has a nice rumble to it, but it does drone in the cab abit at low rpm's. Sounds sweet under hard acceleration. Now if I can just figure out where my oil is going......

Most muffler shops will make you up a 2 1/2" system ,use a cherry bomb for a res. and Borla or Magnafloww muffs and your choice of tips this setup wo'nt break the bank and will sound decent the key is use a res. to kill drone ,as far as flowmasters unless you want a sound like a stuck frog stay clear these muffs are OK on a V8 but sound like ass on the 3.8 I ran them for about a week before I chucked them.

I had an SLP Cat Back installed on my 07 GT last week. The OEM resonator was removed. I was a bit skeptical of deleting the resonator, fearing I would experience raspy obnoxious sound within the cabin. The installer told me if it was the sound quality was overwhelming he would put it back on. Well it really hasn't been that bad at all. My exhaust on idle has a low deep tone, upon acceleration it sounds pretty hefty but still not to overbearing. I kinda feel like getting a header for this car. Anybodt have any suggestions on a good header that will mesh with this year model car and Cat Back application. I am not just interested in gaining more HP or enhancing sound but also gaining some efficiency in dissapating heat from the engine. I live in SE Louisiana and engines as well as Trannys go to early graves because of the intense heat throughout most of the year. When I change my coolant I am definitely going to a 180 T-Stat maybe even a 160. I've heard about this Power Log. From what I can see it really isn't a header per se, but a ported more efficient version of a OEM Exhaust Manifold. Would the Plog be a good choice too. Anyway would appreciate some opinions, insights to help me decide.

headers are always a better choice than a plog/downpipe combo, but it really depends on your cash flow and goals.

Pacesetters work great for me. With 3 resonators it sounds great.
OverKilled, HAI, Ported Throttle body, Ported intake, ZZP DP, Magnaflow, BMR ta's, GMPP STB's, CCS springs, tinted tailights, roof rails, TEP cool'r, G8 hood. Glass Gearbox.

Yes, I am looking very hard at the Pacesetter Headers. They seem to be priced pretty good. I still maybe inclined to put the resonator back on, but not the OEM resonator. I see you have three resonators thats interesting. Well thanks for your opinion.

Pacesetter Headers are a pain in the @$$. The Pacesetter mufflers are resonators & back when ZZP still sold Pacesetters they offered them with an extra, rather large resonator to replace the stock one.
