I will be posting pics of the install so i will keep everybody updated. Input would be greatly appreciated if any of u guys see something that doesnt look right or i could better improve. I wont have install pics of the FMHE and Pump because thats already on the car.

Dude it looks f'in sweet. All three things look f'in sweet. I appreciate it very much man. one of the holes on the IC is like a hair off so the bolt wont screw in but that can be fixed real easily. but other than than everything is perfect.

Ok, cool. Yea when i drilled the holes i checked them and one was a little off, so i redrilled it a little over but maybe wasnt enough. Should be fine with a hair bigger. Let me know how everything goes, as you are the first to report on it.

Alright so everything is on and working. I got a few problems though. I got a leak coming out of the thermostat housing. I think the seal is shot and also the thermostat itself. Its been sittin outside of the housing for over a month and a half so am pretty sure that it just doesnt work now cause of it being out. I assume this because right when i took it out for a run for the first time, the temp shot up to over 210 right away. And also when i let off at about 2,000 RPM's, it makes like a screaming whistling noise everytime i get on it then let off. Could it be because the PCV isnt functional and im running a valve cover breather?

No KR though. haha thats a good thing. Definetly noticed a gain in performance.

Some Input on what the scream noise is and if my assumption could be the problem on my thermostat.

Oh and i also have an idle problem. it sounds almost exactly like its cammed. The EGR is deleted but not programmed into the computer. Could that be the cause of why it idles funny? Or could it just be that its been sitting for over a month and a half?

I agree. One way for sure to tell, is to get a way to look at your fuel trims....anything over +10 and you better be looking for a leak.

Hmm... for the coolant, did you bleed the system to get all the air out? Also, for the vacuum leak, the lim was totally sealed? I heard those garlock gaskets arent the greatest either, might wanna check that.

garlock gaskets are junk. you really used those? time to pull everything back apart and put the stock paper gaskets back on it.

Or silicone gaskets. They can be made for $10. Go to target and they have the silicone baking sheets, they are blue or other colors maybe. Take the stock gasket and lay it on top and cut it out. Done. Now you have a definite seal.

It may help you find the vacuum leak too if, with the engine running, you spray a little throttle body cleaner around the LIM. Go one section at a time. If at any time after spraying a section you hear the engine's RPMs go way up you know you've found your vac leak. Good luck.

And I'm going to have to remember that Silicone gasket trick.

Sounds like you def. have a poor seal between the LIM and the I/C core. As for the squeeling... did you by any chance have your s/c apart before you put it back on? Did you seal it back up cuz they will make that noise if they are not sealed.

The squealing is usually associated with not having a good seal on the SC gasket. If you have a spot where the old gasket wasn't cleaned off, then it will cause the new gasket to vibrate and make a high pitch squeal or shriek. It's almost impossible to track down with your ear, but if it goes away when you open the throttle a little bit, that's probably what it is. When in doubt, check everything.
