    Will the stock plastic air box assy. from a 2001 grand prix gt with a 3800 engine fit in a 1999 gtp? if not why wont it?

    It'll fit as long as it is a 3800 intake system. Just be sure it is the revised one as the '97-'98 intakes were utter dog crap

    all stock intakes are junk. why replace it with something nearly as restrictive?

    yea really, stock intakes suck. either make an fwi, get tdc's fwi, or go with the wizaired
