I have a 99 GTP and I have just come across someone that might be selling his 97 GT. I was just wondering how many parts are interchangable between the 2 model years. I know when I look up most parts for my car, there is usually a range that it fits 97-03 so I'm guessing most parts can get swapped. Does anyone know if body parts and interior parts will fit both? Do they both share a lot of the same sensors on the motors?
I'm thinking of buying it, taking what parts I might need and then parting out the rest.

all the interior exterior parts should be the same and interchangable. The difference is when it comes to the small things like their vacume controlled tranny, MAF, and throttle body.
