Just want to make sure I have all the necessary parts to have my heads built:

    Cylinder heads
    Valves
    Valve springs
    Valve spring retainers
    Valve locks
    Valve seals
    Roller rockers
    Pushrods
    Lifters

    Thanks!

I'm looking on GM Parts Direct, and it doesn't list the guides for the L26. Would you happen to know the part number for these?

Anyone know where to track down some new valve guides? Can't find them anywhere. I did, however, find some valve lifter guides for the L36, but since the valves in the L26 are slightly bigger, will they fit?

the machine shop youre taking them to (which should be a MOTOR shop) should have them. they need to mill them out and then press new ones in since the ones in the stock heads are cast into them. the ones they will be putting in are bronze and way better quality.
