i got a 3 inch pully an i would like 2 run it, but im concerned about boost lag. The upgrades i have done to my 97 gtp so far are k&n intake, ngk plugs, msd packs, msd wires,c-ya-racing pcm and a redneck exhaust system (cat an resn delete).what do i need to run it or will it be ok.

Cam, porting, either an intercooler or some sort of alky, headers, etc. You aren't even safe to run a 3.4".

    boost lag? lol

this isnt a turbo car. boost comes on the second you jam the throttle. also, if you put that 3.0 pulley on youll be buying a new engine soon. you need a lot of supporting mods to run that.

Stop being a sissy and just run the pulley.
Hell, I just grooved my supercharger snout and throw the belt over that. It's like a 0.8" pulley. Fast as hell.
Only took an open cone and a turbinator, and muffler delete.

haha god knows how many mods you would need to go THAT small... looks like we need a writeup for that.

hahahha, come on guys stay on track. To the original question, no you can't run that pulley. You need more stuff as already stated.
