Don't remove the whole thing, just unplug the wire. Not sure which one you did, but when the wire is unplugged it should not go above 5psi of boost.
Do you have any codes thrown? Go to autozone and have them check the DTC for free.
You have to be a little more specific on what exactly your car is doing, say like if you go over 5000rpms, the engine starts stuttering. Or if the car just runs horrible all the time and dies sometimes when it idles. It could be a number of things at this point.
I am betting a plug was bent over and he bent it back and regapped them. That is my theory.
Basically here is the deal slick. Something is wrong with your car whatever it may be. When my motor blew it was a random misfire and I checked the plugs and one of them was not gapped correctly either. IT WAS BENT. I chipped a piston. Let me tell you I had: Intake, T-Stat, plugs/wires, 1.84RR, 3" Downpipe, 3" Custom Exhaust Straight-Piped, DHP PCM and a 3.4" Pulley and it still blew up. I think your problem is you do not understand you have to take in account for dropping the pulley size. I don't think a 3.5" is safe for a stock car; I don't. You're dropping .3" in pulley size...get some supporting mods. I dropped to a 3.5" with a intake and u-bend delete...I think that is what killed my motor to begin with. These cars are iffy and you have to be sure you have supporting mods to drop a pulley and whoever says a 3.5" is safe on a stock car is retarded. We keep explaining these things and it seems like no one listens...why do I bother

I just meant it on the basis of dropping pullies with no mods. I think it is worse to have an intake AND a pulley...more air from the CAI and more air from the smaller pulley hitting that stock DP AND U-Bend.
It isn't smart. Not to say the car can't take it since everyone is different but it is just a chance I wouldn't want to take.
You should get a stock belt and pulley. You can find the sizes on ZZP I am sure in the belt drop down menu.
ok so here is the deal boost is workin better now gauge goes half way now anymore boost after that and it studers. gonna add a 3.5 pipe with magna flow and see wut happens
the catback doesnt help with performance. dont waste your time.
if you found a smashed plug, something is broken. this is not a guess, it is a certainty.

L67 running on 87 octane? Thats what it sounds like.. Haha It's all in the tune though. At least spend $100 on a reflash. Stock programming might not be hurting you, but its not helping you either. That and a bit more airflow and you'll be ok (after you've fixed any damage you've done).
