SO...the infamous ticking is a bad lifter...figure I might as well do LIM gaskets while I am there too...so anyone have a certain brand of lifters they prefer? I know the OEM are expensive...and I can't seem to find anyone that carries them that won't charge me a arm and a leg for it...

I have heard the Comp Cams Lifters are good for higher RPM Perf. but are noisy. Do they mean ticking noisy or clatter?

Any place on the net you guys know of where to get some? If anyone on here has some PM please and I'll pick em up from ya...

    TIA

Get the comp cam OEM replacements from ZZP. They are not noisy. If not contact EdMorad and pick up a used set.

    Sweet...well I looked on ebay...

    LS7 Lifters: eBay Motors: LS7 GM Racing Lifters LSX LS1 LS2 LS6 LS7 LS3 (item 330309942392 end time Mar-24-09 17:32:41 PDT)

LS1/LS6 Lifters: eBay Motors: NEW GM CHEVY/CORVETTE LS1/LS6 HYDRAULIC ROLLER LIFTERS (item 330304650647 end time Mar-02-09 09:54:17 PST)

BUT...they are all together on some...like the LS7 Lifters say that they are also LS1/LS3/LS6...you get the idea...do they HAVE to be LS7's or can I still go with the LS6's which are like 30 bucks cheaper?

Just wondering since I still gotta buy LIM gaskets and that would almost be the cost of em
