Does anyone have a data log that they have a cam and ported heads? Im curious if your boost will slowly creep higher with rpm or if it stays flat up to redline.

boost will build with rpm's. you wont see max psi till red line. or your shift points.

I looked at a scan from 2017 and my boost level hits close to max pretty quick. the car is gone now and I don't remember what mods I had on at that point.

but I do know that I had ported heads and an XP cam at that point.

I only ask because in theory the supercharge should be moving the same amount of air regardless of speed. So for the boost to increase with rpm I can only imagine it is because of a restriction in flow of the heads or exhaust. Unless im missing something...

the blower is rpm dependent. more rpm's the faster the blower spins, thus more boost with more rpm.

ive got a paxton on my 5th gen camaro. at 6300 it makes 6.7 psi. at 6700 it makes 7.5. seen this on my scans with hpt.

mine was with an HP Tuner scanner as well. your paxton doesn't make peak boost like an Eaton M90 because it's centrifugal. roots/pd blowers hit close to max boost much faster than centrifugal.

its still instant power off the line. belt driven turbo really.
