Hey guys, Ive read conflicting articles about upgrading your injectors for a 3.0" pulley. Some say its necessary, others say you can get away with stock depending on the tune.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with it.

    Cheers

You will likely go static on stock injectors at WOT on a 3.0 pulley. Upgrade to 42.5#, retune IFR and tweak the MAF table to stabilize the trims.

will need 42's at min. but as long as your buying em, get 60's i maxed out 42's on a 3.0 gen 5 with a fsic.

Thanks for the input guys. I found a set of 42s for $200. Seems like a pretty good deal. Figured I try those out. The cars in storage until spring so if a set of 60s come up over the winter at a decent price I'll switch em out.

Guess I'll pull the trigger on them. You guys rock

I ran stock injectors on a 3.0 for quite a while without problems. If you have the money, I'd get bigger injectors though.

I pulled the trigger on the injectors. For $200 I figured why not.

My goal was to run a 3.2" and call it quits but then a guy reached out after almost a year and said he had a 3.0" that he didn't need.

So now it's just a waiting game to replace the tranny lol
