    3.0 and a gen 5 will whine just fine. its a tuning game, more boost less timing or less boost more timing. one will work better. just need to play around and see whats faster.

    A 2.6 versus a 3.0 isn't going to make too much of a difference. My car is setup differently, that's why it whines so much.

    Well i have the 2.9 now. wines pretty good. I plan to weld off the silencer ports too. I am not installing a pulley right away. So chances are ill slap it with 20* of timing or more on the 2.9 with the Meth and the cam. Currently im seeing boost at 14PSI at the top of 2nd. Im expecting that to nose dive with the ported heads, headers, cam, and catback.
    2017 GTI 6mt 320whp 400wtq , 2012 Volvo S60 T6 300hp of Swedish safety, (Sold) 2019 Ford Mustang GT. 460 screaming eagles. 2004 Buick Regal GS "Gramps" Intercooled, corn fed, ported g3 m90, 1.9 rockers, 80# injectors.

    i was at 13 psi on a 2.8 with ported heads and rockers, with a na bottom end too.

    so im sure you'll drop a few psi with heads and that huge ass cam.
