    Hi all,

I have decided i want to add methanol injection to my regal. I just ordered an AEM wideband o2 for AFR tuing.
The question is which meth kit to get. I am leaning towards Snow performance stage 1. Its the cheapest option, and i feel like the set meth amount will be easier to tune for . The stage 2.5 is harder to find, but it has a progressive controller that adds more meth as boost increases. Seems like that might make tuning hard, especially since any mods on these engines change boost.
AEM has kits, but ive read their controllers can fail .

I don't think it's really going to be easier or harder either way to tune. A tune is a tune. I put my wide band where the post-cat O2 sensor was. If you don't mind moving it the closer you can get to the front the better.

it's actually probably easier to tune for the progressive kit because the maf tune you will be adjusting is also progressive, and injecting a fixed amount of water/methanol wont be steady, it will lean out some as the engine moves up the maf curve.

I went with the AEM kit and had good luck with it. Scott also used the AEM kit.

The Snow kit has braided lines and is about 75 dollars cheaper. Still a bit on the fence. Where did you guys put the nozzle ?

I went with a gen 5 blower, which you will notice has space for the nozzle, while the gen 3 doesn't. if you want to use methanol on a gen 3, just go with a throttle body spacer or something like that. I also recommend doing the 50/50 blend to gain the full benefit of each component ( water and methanol). I had the most success with the biggest nozzle, but if your car bogs down, you will need to run a smaller nozzle. 1000 cc's is what I ran.
