i bought a roll of wire that was 10 foot, cut it into three equal parts, cut soldered and shrink wrapped, then i just wrapped the wires up with tape. it drops down right where my hand is. mines a 98 so i got abs parts there to zip tie it to to hold it up in place. but im sure you can find something to hold it in place. then stick on wire mounts, or even a screw in type would work if theres nothing to secure it to .

I’m just gonna take it to a shop to have one welded in and to cut off the stupid brace put in the wrong spot. Looking at the zzp headers it looks like the 02 is in the cross over section. Is that a good spot to put it? Or the goose neck section better?

i had a shop weld a bung in my cross over pipe first due to how easy it was, only issue is its only reading the one bank of the engine. so if you plan to mod it where your running a sub 3.4 set up you'll want it in the down pipe.

Makes sense... Eventually I’ll wanna go below 3.4. Will the 02 extension like what zzp sells reach down to the goose neck? It’s 27 inch

Your o2 location has absolutely zero to do with your pulley size. That's probably the dumbest thing I've ever read on here.

Put it wherever is convenient. Zzp's aren't the only headers that run the o2 in the crossover.

don't know much about banks numbers an o2 placement but I cant imagine SD would be the o2 hole in a spot that literally works on no ones car unless the firewall is practically destroyed. on top of the fact the hole is very close to the flex joint and on a slightly bent part of the pipe compared to just putting it in a place like scotty where the pipe is straight and also much more clearance for servicing o2 sensors. but who knows they could've just been lazy and not thought about that. I took mine to a muffler shop to get the o2 put into a new spot and he said he didn't want to mess with where the engineers put the o2 and he would rather just bang out the firewall with a air hammer. great shop he ended up not charging me for anything since it did only take him like 5 min just asked for a good review on google I told him no problem and I was planning on it regardless because they are one of the only shops that don't treat me like an idiot because im young

Placement of the o2 matters very little. It's not like the maf. There are definitely recommended areas if you do some research on it. But on our cars, it matters very little.

When your headers start leaking, is when it's placement will cause problems.

Went to 2 shops asked about welding a bung and cutting the brace. First said if I supply the bung about 40 bucks for both things done. Second shop didn’t ask if I’ll supply the bung or not but said about a $100. Yeah right! LOL

Is this what I need right?...

I would get one of these instead.
Amazon.com: Vibrant 1194A Standard Oxygen Sensor Bung: Automotive

Or a stainless one since you are welding it into stainless steel. Especially if you live in the rust belt.

This shop ended up being pretty awesome. Welded 02 bung, cut and grinded down the brace for $45 then he went ahead for free and welded the old 02 shut and gave me a 1inch clamp he said would work good.

Finally got it all back together and fired right up! I don’t have the upstream 02 sensor plugged in. I need to order an extension. But ran her for 30 seconds and sounds good! Love the smell of gas cause of the no cat lol
was a pain in the ass but worth it compared to the shocking quote I was told by a shop here. Both front and rear manifold had slight cracks... it was the exhaust leak I was hearing. Not often do you get to fix a problem with something fun lol
