Does the hose have to be big I was going to go with 3/8 diameter?

How to get PCV to work instead of valve cover breather! heres the how to on this topic. looks like a 3/8th hose they use.

problem solved got some marine weld also when getting the parts to fix this issue so I will hopefully be able to complete the intercooler setup this weekend
