Yes. Valve covers are known to leak. There is even a recall on them. It’s most commonly the grommets that leak.

the grommets dont leak, but they do dry up and put less down force on the valve cover, the cover bolts have a shoulder at the end of the threads so only snug them down or they snap real easy.
gaskets leak all the time on these, the recall only covers the front cover, or what would be your rear now due to a fiero swap .

Grab the set on rockauto and do em both. It's pretty easy and it's good peace of mind! imho
