Is it Possible to have a boost leak from the rod that comes out the supercharger at the Boost bypass valve?

If the plunger in it is dry rotted, then sure.
I think I figured it out, I don't have the car back together yet, so I'm not exactly sure, but I think the bbv wasn't adjusted correctly so it couldn't close all the way.
You can move it around all you want; that doesn't impact anything. ZZP used to tell you to unbolt them and lower them for "better performance", which was a load.
If it works, it works. If it doesn't, oh well. You'll lose an MPG or two.
Agree with BlueBalls.. if the diaphragm is bad.. it's leaking. Put on a fresh one.
nothing wrong with the actual bbv, it was how it was bolted on to the supercharger, like how zzp said you can lower it for "better performance", I did that once and lost at least 1 psi of boost because the valve couldn't close all the way.
So is the rod that goes into the plunger, bent?
Send me a picture of it, Marshall.
