    I know both cams are good. But i wanted to get some advice. First, i don't
    plan on running ported heads. I will upgrade to Comp. 918 spring with new retainers.
    Since the S1X cam has more intake duration and is on a 116 LSA, would it be a better choice
    than the ST2?
    One last question, would i better off not breaking the OEM seal on the heads?

    Both cams will perform similar.


    It's a good idea to not break the factory seal, unless you are doing head studs.

    Cool. If i don't have the heads ported i won't bother to remove the heads.
    Does anyone run Abbott S1 heads. I like their price and i only want a mild ported head.
    And they add 130# springs and other work.

    That's what Turbo Tim told me to. He said fully ported heads were more for a fully modified blower setup. I wouldn't
    gain all that much on a mild turbo setup. But i love the look of a ported set of heads...lol.
