    i have a 1989 Buick Century and i want to turn it into a sleeper. Looking for any and all info about swapping in the 3.8 litre supercharged out of a 1999 regal GS (same L67 that came in the Grand Prix GTPs). i already know i have to do a battery relocate but know nothing about what i need for wiring harness and other mounts, clearance, ecu etc. also curious about whether i can use the suspension and swap the hubs as the one i'm getting has upgraded brakes and suspension. any help is greatly appreciated

    get a regal. and if you mean a 89 that maybe to much work to be worth it.

    i am getting the regal for 1500 bucks and it already has extensive mods pushing it into the 300s for power. the reason i want to gut it is because its a write off because someone broke into it and trashed the interior, which is why it is so cheap. ive seen on other forums that most of the mounts are the same when the A-Body has the engine config mine does. the trans is a 4T60E and the engine is a series one 3300, literally just older versions of whats in the regal

    ok thats cool that its really a 89. its been done. i turbo would be easier to install with a f body camaro v6 upper intake so the tb is facing the belts. being rwd id rather put as much potential at them wheels lol

    or you need to cut up the blower and weld on a U bend or the tb is in the fire wall big time.

    damn, i thought it was like the regals back then. im sure it will bolt in. maybe the sub frames are the same bolting locations and you can go that route.

    Only real issue I can think of is that platform uses a weird fore and aft trans mount setup...somewhat like a cavalier. Got paid like $600 plus some trade to drop a motor in one a few years back....I told him I'd do it cheaper but he insisted lol.
