So I ended purchasing headers on eBay close to 8 months ago , at the time I knew little about the 3800 community, let alone the mod support and all of the different aftermarket part dealers. I ended up choosing between speed daddy headers and OBX , foolishly I ended up choosing the Obx pair, I honestly couldn't tell any difference in quality from the speed daddy's, I figured if I bought a set of headers this cheap in the first place that it wouldn't matter what brand I got ( I assumed fitment would be similar on all the eBay brands), how wrong I was, anyway long story short I have these headers and have been searching the Internet relentlessly only to find one install guide on this set. -->

In his review he notes the various fabrication that must be done for these to fit properly
1) shave flange on front header ( it's the same as the rear header with egr provisions, wouldn't be a problem but it hits the radiator hose
2) expand the y pipe to better fit the cross over and rear header
3) he had to cut the cross over, test fit it, then reweld it in place.
He also notes that his kit came with crappy or no hardware, and he had to mess with his fan shrouds to make the firmest halfway decent.
I would like to add that on my set Ill probably end up needing to grind the surface on the down pipe flange to y pipe adapters flange to make the two flanges Fit flush, as they sit it would seem that the two flanges have a slightly convex angle preventing them from sitting flush when attempting to torque down the provided bolts. My biggest concern is cutting and welding the crossover, if anyone knows how it is supposed to be / fit or why it doesn't fit the way it is i.e.( too long) , wrong angle after a certain point, whatever. It would be greatly appreciated.
If needed i can try to add some photos when I get home.
Hopefully someone has some experience with these particular headers on the l67
Thanks all
