I have a 2002 4 door gtp with 130k miles on it. It has cai, U bend delete, 180 thermostat, and i am getting a zzp tune. Do u guys think it will go 14.20's with these mods? Or do I have too high of expectations. Thanks

so its stock? 15 flat, or high 14's. zzp tune is not a real mod. some times they make things worse. neither is a u bend delete 180 t stat or a open cone filter.

its as fast as stock, hair better, unless you got kr like all zzp tunes offer lol kr makes it slow due to it pulling timing.

theres lots of factors involved, driver for one, same car your friend may run faster then you. or slower.

Understood, I've been drag racing for 15 years. I was under the assumption these cars went 14.50's stock. And figured I'd be able to knock 2-3 tenths of pretty easily (which isn't alot to ask in the 14 second range.) I have a trans am that would take about another 40 horse to knock 2 tenths off but it's a different level.

So knowing I have a 15 second flat car, I guess my new goal is to go 14.50-14.60. I'm confident I'll be able to 60 foot it for whatever it's worth as far as that goes

with all the mods in my sig, id be happy with a 14 or high 13 even. im not a drag racer really, but it takes some mods to make faster times.

stock cars tend to trap around 96 mph, modded 106 ish and up of course from time slips ive seen. we got a whole section on that iirc.

    stock pulley and a 2.1x short time should be good for a 14.6 - 14.8 in the 1/4 mile. cut the 60' time to a 2.0x and you'll have a 14.5
drop to a 3.4 pulley and knock down to consistent 14.0 - 14.2's

Ok well I apreciate your input and info.
I guess I'm prolly overly optimistic (like 99% of the people I know lol). My t/a responded very well to basic mods so I assumed the same for this car. The stock e.t. is a little slower than I expected to begin with but a trap speed in the mid 90'S isn't too bad imo.

here's a list of my GTP's times with the mod list and conditions for each run

I did install a SSIC and improve the PB to 13.89 @ 101 but I don't have that run in the table

I did 14.6 with a DP, catback and cone intake. With the Methanol, I'm hoping for a high 13
