That's a crush bent gasket. One time use only, or it won't seal. Similar to the way a compression fitting works under your sink. If you reused it without a leak, you either have the felpro replacement, or you are stupid lucky.
I think I've had the downpipe out of my sisters car like 3 times already and everytime I just impact the bolts back on and send it. No leaks FTW.
Just to make sure do I drop timing only at wot or all across the board?
What I did right now with hptuners is drop timing by seven degrees from 5000 Rpm and up
Also would bad ground or bad battery cable make theft light come on
Oh ok I just wanted to make sure but I just cranked it up again and it's rattling or something. I might just run it back through the auction and get what I can out of it
take the sc belt off and see if the pulley has slop in it, turn the pulley back and fourth, snap it back, if it clicks its just a bad coupler. they tend to make a racket at idle when bad. like rocks in the sc horrid sound.
Where are all the grounds? I ha e a connections issue. With key on the check engine light flickers and the power train relay clicks really fast. Is the fuse box going out
tranny bolt has a stud on it, follow the neg cable if you dont see it right away. its under the cross over pipe somewhat. theres smaller grounds there as well, the wires tend to break off the eyelets sometimes, theres also a ground off the battery to the fender on the 04 up cars iirc.
Ok that's what I thought. Thanks allot you've been a great help. Im going to upload a video of what is doing
