So I just bought a set of .052 4 layer Cometic gasket from zzp. The only option they had for bore size was 3.84.

My question is they say not to run a 3.84 bore gasket on a stock bore motor, has anyone ran this type of gasket on a stock bore engine.

I'm running 9.8 to 1 compression on a na short block with 16 psi on a gen v with fully ported heads, and spraying 10 gal per hour of water meth. I'm using arp head studs and will be using copper gasket spray with it as well.

Sounds similar to my original setup. Are you gonna be running E85?

I'm glad I'm not the only person to be caught off guard by that number but I am also wondering the same thing while building my motor, zzp hasn't answered yet so went with intense who emailed me back in 5 min answering my questions. They also have the correct bore size and thickness I needed
