I was reading a bit about the springs, and i was wondering do i need to use my factory retainers and and locks? or do i need to buy the LS6/7 ones?
I couldnt find any more threads about them, also are these the right ones for the 1.9 rockers on N/A motors, or should i do the 1.84.
Lots of questions i just coulnd find all my answers thanks.
All i have as of right now is-
    AL605's
    4" FWI
    2.5 uncatted down pipe

ok you have alot of questions there with not clean cut answers. first 1.8 rockers will do better on the NA motor. second valve retainer is based on install heigh and valve spring size. if you are using the 105 springs you should use the ls based retainers you can however use the stock locks.

best bet if to post up what you want to use and someone will helexplain why it will or wont work.

i was unaware the 105s were yellow i was under the impression that was the 90# LS6 springs that were yellow.

To answer your question use the ls based retainers in any application where stock valves ae involved and aftermarket springs. Only case to use the stock ones with aftermarket valves sprinigs is when you have longer valves and need them to obtain install height.

You are correct. The yellow springs are 90lb springs
