Push up on the plastic thingy is the way to describe it. It's just a simple clip, one part moves up and you slide it back.

Assuming you have knowledge about how to lift the vehicle with a floor Jack and 2 stands? Where would you first put the floor jack to lift it up to do this job.
Thx any input is appreciated! !

If one side at a time, pinch weld if they are solid and no rust or slide the jack in further to the unibody beam.

Or under the front bumper in like 1 foot is the subframe, a big metal square really and the front has a almost 3 foot section that runs infront of the oil pan. Place a jack right there in the middle and it will lift the entire front end, e-brake the rear wheels.

Haha! No, your question was fine. My comment was in regards to "pulling on it for almost an hour." Sounded dirty. Sorry, I'm a permanent 13 year old....
