I really just want to buy this hose and replace it myself, but I can't seem to find THIS particular hose. Has anyone else ever been able to find this part new?? The nearest pick pull I could go to is like an hour away. -_-

Couldn't you get just a couple feet of fuel line and use that? Not sure it needs to be the molded hose as long as you don't kink it. Check Rock Auto and GMpartsdirect if all else fails.

Or you could check your local stealership. Probably wouldn't be much.

what broke on your hose? or is it missing?

my cap took a dump and cracked, so i cut the tube off the cap put it between the two hoses, the one in the tank and the other to the rad cap, then sealed it with a shrink tube, stuck the tube int he tank under the coolant line, cut a v in the cap so the line fit into the tank. no leaks any more now.

you can see the edge of the shrink tube at the edge of the cap. so you can cut and splice it id its broken or pinched and leaking.

My hose has 2 fairly big holes in it, so I need to replace it. I would just cut the hose down but I believe it'd be too short if I did. I have read it wrong but I don't think that method would help me out, or would it?

it should work. the splice trick. you just need a tube of some sort that fits in the tube ends snugly. theres no pressure in that line, it just takes coolant back and fourth to the tank.

metal tube maybe easier to find. i had the bright idea to use the tube in the cap cause it was already cracked on the in let side. aka junk lol
