quit driving it like you stole it?
pretty vague post.
How's your engine and trans mounts look? Other than that as long as you're using Napa Gold axles you shouldn't have an issue. The Autozone and others have a history of failing early. Not in a weeks time, but the Napa axles have been said to be the best replacement.
Quit driving like a dummy and fix it?
I'd take it easy on the first like, 25-50 miles on new cv axles. Just because the grease needs to completely get in the bearings. I assume they pack the bearings from the factory, but it can't hurt to take it easy for a bit. Your trans will thank you as well.
The only thing worse than beating on a car with a 4t65e, is beating on a 4t65e with a failing PCS. You will kill it so much faster. Mine was failing and I had to drive like a grandma just to avoid too much slipping in between gears, if I drove like a maniac during that time, I probably would have killed it.
I dunno. The owner before me went through 2 LH CV axles in a 2 year period, both NAPA.
Me personally, I don't know anything about em. I just know I never want to have to buy the tools to do it.
