There ya go bro http://www.grandprixforums.net/bolt-...ead-48823.html
Most people just get them good and snug.
Personally I hate to torque those bolts because what if even at the correct TQ number they break.
I choose to get them nice and tight/snug and leave them.
Dont forget to use some thread sealant on the bolts that go into the coolant jackets.
what he said ^^ just tight. nothing crazy either.
heres a tip if you did not know, break the 4 bolts on the w/p pulley loose before you take the belt off, make then tight after the belt is back on. or you'll have a hard time getting them off. or back on tight.
Alright thanks! Currently I am having touble getting the power steering pully back into place. I can't seem to get te bolts in
those 2 bolts are fun, you can see the top hole a bit by looking over the top and looking at the back with the bolt sticking out, then line it up to the threaded hole. once one bolt is in the other is easy.
The power steering pump is even funner to get on when you hands are cold, you have to pee and your already pissed off.
The way I do a ps pump. Leave the bolts in it, push the lower bolt so the end is flush with the back of the pump. Now put your socket on the top bolt and push it all the way so it protrudes. I use my right hand on the socket and left on the back of the pump. Get the pump in the are where it should go.. you can feel it hit the hole with your right hand, start trying to thread it.. pull toward the pass side with the pump..you'll know quick if you got it started.. if so.. pivot the bottom of the pump toward the radiator and move your socket to the lower bolt, now use your left to pull the bottom of the pump toward the firewall until you feel the bolt drop into the hole.. thread away.
I got her in yesterday after reading ScottyDogs post. I used my left hand to feel the bolt hole and used my right hand to guide it there. Toughest part of changing the pump was getting the lower steering back in! Lol
Do it enough times.. I've had a lot of practice and it's a second nature thing at this point..
