morad doesnt give "deals", but he is a good source to find parts specifically for our cars. find someone taking parts off their car and selling it for next to nothing. patience is the key.

$1100? What all did you get a motor along with it? I thought it was more along the lines of $600-$700

Yeah, that sounds about right. As Ed's business has grown, his prices have gone up. Service can't be beat, and if you need something right away, he probably has it. If you can wait, you can usually do much better on the forums.

Hello. I have a 97 Pontiac grand prix, and the a/c only works on the highest setting. i have tried replacing the resistor pack, but that didn't solve my problem. i went as far as hooking my battery up to a test light to bypass the electrical send from the car it self, and all fan speeds worked fine, but that's only with the battery sending direct power to the a/c switch. can someone please help me?

He has an 04+, I'd bet that Ed quoted him for the Gen V stuff so he doesn't have to go around tring to find a DBW throttle body to GeN 3 adapter

brand new? thats all kinds of doubtful since they dont make this motor anymore. used are fine so long as they are in good condition.

    heads
    valve covers
    lower intake manifold
    injectors
    fuel rail
    supercharger
    TB (no maf)
    vac lines
    idler pullies
    brackets
    balancer

For $650 You will also need wiring upgrade, gaskets/torque to yeild bolts, and Custom PCM.

I can get you the wiring upgrade for $40 and GM gaskets and tty bolts for $245.

    you will also need...

    -coolant
    -$100 for head gaskets
-11qts of oil and 2 filters(1 to use to wash down lifter valley) (4.5qts to change with right away) (another 4.5qts to change in 500-1k miles)
-pcm tune (unless you have a tuner) I run a top-swap tune from Intense, it cost $200

While your at it, you might as well get new ls7 lifters as well. Paceperformance has them for an awesome price.

The only wiring upgrade you need is a Map sensor adapter.

As far as cylinder heads, get the 98 and up style ones. The 97's crack around the valves (some say it doesn't matter but, if im paying all that money i don't want to put on cracked cylinder heads)

It would be wise for you to get your cylinder heads machined, fluxed, and checked for cracks. That cost me $190 but its well worth your investment.
