ST3 Cam
130# springs
Modded Retainers
JP Double Roller Set
Ported Heads (On the edge about not sure)
Should I also get pushrods, and valves? My GT has 72k on her. Im thinking of just getting the internals done with.
Recommended Pushrod sizing?

I think you will need a double roller chain with those valve springs if Im not badly mistaken and there are possibly some modifications needed to the double roller timing chain gear depending on which one you get. I would think that with that kind of added stress on the valve train, stronger push rods would be a fantastic idea.
As for size and whether or not you should get new valves, Im not sure.
I dont recall if the JP double roller had the chamfer (sp?) issue or not, but it would be worth looking into.
Yea they have the same warning for both the JP and Rollmasters. I guess the sp issue is for Double Rollers kits on some cars. They say throw another gasket/spacer on there.
My understanding is that if you have the Chamfer corrected that no longer is necessary.
The bottom gear that the chain rides on, the side of it that butts up against the crankshaft, the chamfer is wrong and and causes the chain to stick out further than it should causing the chain to ride at a slight angle to the top gear which puts stress on the chain and causes it the rub up against the oil pump housing. Now I dont know if this applies to the JP double rollers or just the Rollmaster Double Roller chain.
Correcting the chamfer prevents the rubbing and clearance issues along with allowing the chain to roll in line with the top gear. The double rollers out there, whether both the JP or Rollmaster Im not sure, were made for the Australlian 3800 which has a bit different crank than the American version.
ah I see I didn't know what you were saying was wrong with the chamfer. Thank you for that I did not figure in the angle of the chains to the cam. Hmm ill ask tim or zoomer over at zzp if that applies to both. Thank you Scotty! First day here and I'm already being informed haha
dang....... one million????? How do you even look through them all!
I think he should be sharing them.
