Does the fuel pressure regulator need a c-clamp to tighten or push down to get the snap ring in place? I have heard that on other GM applications that a c-clamp is needed. How hard is it to push down during installation? Thanks.

Is there a way to tell if the old one is bad by looking at it? Is it the screen or guts that give the car the symptons?
