Hi today i got a po300 misfire while going WOT from 2-3 shift. So far its only done it on a 2-3 wot shift. Also still have p0171 that i cant figure out. Im wondering if it could be my battery because ive had to jump my car a few times to start it in the morning.

You have a vacuum leak or a dirty MAF.

I'll have to try and look again. I sprayed carb cleaner but didn't find anything.

One of the things I've found that can cause a P0171 is low system voltage. Corroded battery cables, maybe a bad battery, poor connections that provide resistance etc.

    Vacuum leaks are also common.

Well I know my battery is bad cause sometimes the car won't start and when it does its a very weak crank.

Alright so I tried spraying didn't notice any idle jump. My gauge says I'm going from around 600 something to 700. It jumps to quick to get an exact number.
