My wife's car is starting to loose its heat. I am going to be changing the thermostat this weekend. I do not see any leaks. Is there anything else I should be checking. This is her 3rd Grand Prix and all of them have had heater problems about 4-5 years in. Where I have never had a car or truck with heater issues. Right now my WRX will roast me out of the car and it is a 08 also.

I know a radiator drain is not going to do much. The car only has 68k on it.

Thanks for any help on this car. I still do not have it down.

Loose it's heat as in the temp gauge is not coming up to "normal" range? Or the gauge says it's hot but no/little heat through the vents?

Heatercore flush and new thermostat, then bleed the cooling system.

I had the same issue last year--the flush and thermostate change solved this issue for me.

Time to flush the system and change the t-stat. Now I would recommend going with a different kind of coolent, Dex-cool seems to get dirtier faster and has a higher electrolysis reading over time than other coolent that Ive messed with.
