    i bought a new k&n filter and housing recently. went to take the old one out and there is this silver computer type thing in the air filter box? Any ideas what I am supposed to do with it when i replace the whole thing. thanks

    Take that out you dont need it.
    Just kidding just lay it down in there it will stay. And return that K&N intake and save yourself $200 and build your own.
