You should really just add on to your other threads, instead of making tons of new ones.
But anyway, do you have spark and fuel? All connectors plugged in?
What do you mean locks?
Like its popping then just quits and I checked spark it sounds like it wants to fire but then drops. And all the dash lights blink
Sounds like you dont have fuel.
So what should I do
Check for fuel at the rail? Does the fuel pump even run?
Double check all spark wire routing, you might have it wrong.
I mean you did just do a top swap, so you should have some of this down.
Haha it was spark guys thanks though
derp
Tell me about it, that's what happens when you let your friend hook them up
My supercharger sounds like rocks are tumbling around at idle. I put a new coupler on it so idk what to do.
Just deal with it?
Buy another on from ZZP or ebay?
What about bearings or anything?
So there's no way to fix it? Will it hurt anything to drive it until u get one? That's my main concern.
if the coupler is good, them its probably the bearings gone bad.
it maybe cheaper to just get a used blower and slap it on.
Yea I put a new coupler on. I'll buy a used one. But it ok to drive for a little if I take it easy I mean I still have the 500 mile break in.
500 mile break in? theres no break in for a top swap.
back in the day you had to break in the cam and lifters, being we use roller lifters you dont need to break them in at all.
that goes if you have a whole new engine, bottom end to top, its go or blow, some say driving it like you stole it right out of the box sets the rings better as well.
no amount of babying the car will save it is something is not right.
in your case you may just want to pull the belt off the sc, if the rotors are touching it could send metal chips into he engine.
Ok ill have to pull it off
Is there a way to check for bad bearing?
if the coulper is tight feeling still, then you would need to take it off and take it apart to inspect it.
if the sound is gone with the sc belt off you know its related.
Ok thanks man
