Im getting all may parts together for my up coming top swap on my 01 Grand Prix Gt. So far i have the supercharger, fuel rails, and the tensioner and idler pulleys. I know i still need the LIM, heads, valve covers injectors, and the harmonic balancer but am i missing anything else? Also when i start the swap will i have to splice wires or engine harnesses? I heard something about injector connectors will i need those.

    Maybe?

I'm 100% sure there is this info in many threads.

You will need injector connectors, yes. You don't have to worry about the BBV harness if you leave the bottom nipple open. The screws from the coil pack don't fit in he new bracket, so make sure you have the right screws or a tap.

    missing:
    L67 coil bracket
    l67 tb

you will not need different injector connectors to go from l36 to l67 injectors. if you are going to run a l36 pcm file tuned for the sc then you may still beable to use your current map. but most swap to a l67 and need to change the connector. i have heard some swap to the newer series 3 map and are able to use the current map connector. like said no need to run the bbv soloenoide. also i would suggest addressing the fuel lines during the swap. i have heard many have leaks when trying to get l36 lines to work on their l67. i am just going to swap to AN lines. $100 or so in parts is worth not having to worry about a car fire.

You have to use the map sensor for the base file you use unless you change the map settings via tt.

Yes my lines leak a little. And the bbv will end up being vacuum operated instead of controlled by the PCM. Search bro

the 3" on the stand bolts to the block.
The ribbed one goes on the front most position of the cast iron engine mount bracket
The tensioner (flat 2.5") gets mounted on bracket closer to the charger

    FWIW if you
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I believe coolant flows through the idler pulley on all 3800 series II motors, the coolant elbows which have a knack for disintegrating upon removal are located there right? They were on my L26, both snapped on both ends when I pulled my idler off, along with a bunch of coolant flowing out everywhere :P

Pick up some coolant elbows now if you don't have any or you've never replaced them, because they will probably break.

Sorry I meant the idler pulley for the supercharger. The one closest to the harmonic balancer.

Click the search button at the top and search on braided lines and my screen name. That should get you set on that front.

What are your other questions? I can't read the whole thread at the moment.

Im wonder if the supercharger idler pulley closest to the harmonic balancer if when removing the bolts coolant should flow out of the holes? Im asking cause i started to loose one bolt that i thought was the right one coolant came out.
