Change them and the ICM? Or just the plugs and wires?
I drove a car with bad plugs this seems much much worse
your using the wrong plugs, 99% of people who have them change them out, because they misfire badly.
do the wires too.
i just helped out a member here, who flew into my area to buy a car, i looked at it and it ran great he came in 3 days later and it was running like crap for no reason, we did a tune up on it and it was running like a top instantly. he then drove it home for 9 hours or so.
Will do I'll prolly go with some NGKs
Swapped the plugs and wires.I took the ICM and coil packs to get tested they tested good. Wonder if firestone will give me my money back. Still running crappy. I'm trying to figure out how to test the fuel pressure. I got the line off. i turn the ignition to see how it flowed out of the bank. Id say about a 12 oz came out seem to flow pretty fast. The filter is stuck I thing I'm going to cut the line and run a section of rubber hose.
Spin the filter not the line.
I had a big ole pair of channel locks on it twisting it wouldn't budge do you know what size the line is?
I poured a bottle of sea foam in the tank it idled fine. soon as I took it down the road the light came on and all went to hell. I noticed some rusty stuff coming out of the filter

not sure but i'm thinking 3/8" I have rubber line on mine because i kinked the line putting it back on.
lock some vice grips on the line nut, hold it still, then with a adjustable or proper size open end wrench unscrew the filter from the line nut. once it cracks its gonna come right off.
I'll try one more time tomorrow. If the filter fixes it I will be happy, but pissed I spent so much trying to figure it out. I guess I need the O2 sensor and plugs and wires. I'm going to give fire stone a talking to tomorrow morning. How does the rubber hose hold up to pressure?
Just buy fuel injection rubber line and you'll be fine.
I read ICMs can test good but be bad. Have you heard this? It's more likely when the car is at least running with it

Why so cheap?
Cheap knock off that will fail.
A delco unit is your best bet, or even hit up the junk yard if that is your cars problem and snag one.
I thought about a junk yard. I just moved into town and don't know the ropes yet. Any idea how much they usually run from a junk yard?
