    Hi all

Just wanted to vent! I replaced my original plugs and wires on my 99 GP GT yesterday for over 3 hours.

I started out tilting the engine to get the rear three plugs first. I could not believe how hard they were to get the wire boots off the plugs. Once I got them off no problem with replacing them. I did replace the plugs with the originals so now I dont have to do them for at least another 10 years! My GP GT had only 85,000 and the original plugs looked worn out. Once I replaced the plugs and wires I could not believe how smooth and quit the engine ran.

    George

I just don't get how it takes people so long to do the rear plugs i can do a plug and wire change in around 30 min.

When you go 100k without touching wires sometimes only vice grips will get them of lol.

Op- put a little di-electric grease on plugs and in boots so its easier next time.

I've had some that stick but I've always been able to get them off pretty quickly especially if I'm replacing the wires at the same time.

I've had stubborn ones before. I've had to take off 150k miles plugs and wires before and they weren't to bad.
